I am shaking my head.
And I am also worried about Noel Acciari’s…
There was a lot of controversy in Game 5 after the referees made an embarrassing miscall in the third period in Boston. With under 10 minutes to play in the third period and St. Louis holding a 1-0 lead, Tyler Bozak seemed to trip Bruins forward Noel Acciari in the Boston zone. The play allowed David Perron to pick up the loose puck and beat netminder Tuukka Rask to score the eventual game-winning goal.
While the officials made a terrible miscall, a spotter made an important call on Acciari after the trip.
Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy revealed that his forward needed to be taken out of action to undergo concussion protocol right after the slew foot from Bozak, as per TSN's Frank Seravalli.
Acciari did meet with media members after the loss and appeared to be fine. However, with concussions, we never know and so this is something fans will keep an eye on ahead of Sunday’s Game 6 in St. Louis.
