Despite still being very much employed by the Boston Bruins as their head coach, Claude Julien's name continues to be mentioned when it comes to possible head coaching replacements for struggling franchises.

Earlier this month rumors out of Montreal suggested Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin could re-evaluate his position on Michel Therrien should Julien become available. That doesn't seem likely after Bergevin effectively squashed those rumors during the Canadiens end of season press conference in which he announced Therrien would be back next season.

Now however Julien is being rumored to take over where there actually is a coaching vacancy, behind the bench of the Ottawa Senators. After the Senators parted ways with head coach Dave Cameron on Tuesday, Ottawa Sun reporter Don Brennan stated "the Claude Julien watch has begun in Ottawa." Furthermore Brennan pointed to a very interesting connection with Ottawa's current GM Pierre Dorion, who according to Brennan was the man who gave Julien his first coaching job dating back 23 years ago.
