Do you agree with Cassidy?

We now have a rematch 49 years in the making.

The Bruins will face the Blues in the Stanley Cup final, which kicks off on Monday, however this time around, St. Louis will come out to fight and stop Boston in its tracks.

However, Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy knows he can rely on all his players, especially one whom he called the face of the franchise on Wednesday after practice.

Without hesitation, Cassidy called forward Patrice Bergeron the face of the Bruins’ franchise.

Who can disagree with it? As part of the Bruins’ perfection line, Bergeron has managed to lead his team on and off the ice.

In 17 playoffs this spring, Bergeron has collected eight goals and 13 points. He is looking to add a few to his statistics in the final.

Bergeron is a finalist for the Selke award this season and would break the record for most awards won if he wins in 2019. In 2017, he won his fourth Selke award as he previously won it in 2012, 2014, and 2015. He has finished within the top five in award voting every year since 2010 and has been named a finalist eight straight years in a row.

Yeah, face of the franchise no doubt.
