Bruins coach makes controversial swap to his line up this evening.

BREAKING: Veteran player takes his spot back

Interim head coach Cassidy has confirmed that John-Michael Liles will sub in for Colin Miller tonight.  Miller has put up 12 points (5 goals, 7 assists) in his 58 games played this season.  Liles has only played 31 games and only once in the last 19 games.

Since this announcement, Bruins fans have continued to question Cassidy’s decision as the team is fighting for a playoff spot.  Colin Miller is young and brings speed to the Bruins’ defense.  Even though he is a top six defensemen and a two-way defender, veteran John-Michael Liles will definitely bring more experience to the lineup.

Considering that David Krejci, a top six forward will be a game time decision, the Bruins could be losing two fundamental players tonight against the Nashville Predators.  A crucial game for both teams.  Will Cassidy’s decision to put Miller as a healthy scratch help or hurt the Boston Bruins?
