Bruins insider reveals why Pastrnak still is not signed!

The Boston Bruins still have not signed star forward David Pastrnak, and it's not at all surprising that fans are now concerned given the fact that he put up 70 points for their team last season.

On Wednesday Bruins insider Jimmy Murphy was a guest on TSN's Montreal 690 radio and he was asked why exactly the deal has not yet been consummated, and he gave a very revealing answer.

"One of the biggest things from what I'm told from a couple sources.... I believe it's the bonuses. I think that he's asking for a lot of these bonuses that should there be, and it's very likely there's gonna be unfortunately, another work stoppage in a couple of years, if he achieves those before then they're lockout clad."

"That's some money that I don't think, being that it's Jeremy Jacobs, he doesn't want to spend that."

Murphy made no secret of his dislike for Jeremy Jacobs during the interview, and there's little doubt that when fans in Boston here of Jacobs penny punching once again they will be very unhappy with their already largely unpopular owner.
