Bruins lose defenseman after awkward fall on Friday night.

The Bruins suffered a tough injury on Friday night, and now several hours later it's still not clear how severe it is.

Bruins defenseman Kevan Miller was injured during Boston's match up against the St. Louis Blues when a battle for position with Blues forward Magnus Paajarvi resulted in both men tripping up and falling. Unfortunately Miller took the worst of the fall as he crashed awkwardly into the boards and did not immediately get up.

We now know that the injury to Miller was a leg injury of some kind, however it's unclear if the injury occurred when the two players tangled their skates, when he crashed into the boards, or perhaps even when Paajarvi fell onto Miller after the fact.

We don't believe it will be a severe/long-term injury otherwise information likely would have leaked out, but this is only speculation at this point.
