If you are a fan of the Boston Bruins then Monday morning is a great time to be you.

In spite of the fact that the Bruins have been dealing with some rather significant injuries the team is off to a pretty strong start to the 2019 - 2020 National Hockey League regular season, and things may be on the verge of getting even better. According to a report from Boston Bruins insider Joe Haggerty it now sounds like the Bruins are set for some really big returns ahead of Tuesday night's contest against the New Jersey Devils. Although none of these have been made official yet it sounds like forward Brett Ritchie, forward Jake DeBrusk and forward Patrice Bergeron all have the potential of returning for that game.

In the case of both DeBrusk and Ritchie it sounds like it is all but a forgone conclusion that both players will return to the lineup, barring any kind of setbacks for either player of course. Haggerty reports that the Bruins expect both men to be in the lineup for the Bruins on Tuesday and we likely won't be getting any official confirmation in that regard until just prior to that game for obvious reasons.  Ritchie was having a decent season for the Bruins so far recording 2 goals and 1 assist for a total of 3 points in his first 13 games and he boasted a plus minus rating of -1 before going down to injury. The big return here of course would be the return of Jake DeBrusk who through 15 games this season had already accumulated 3 goals and 3 assists for a total of 6 points and a plus minus rating of +1.

Of course even more anticipated than both of those potential returns will be any updates on the health of Boston Bruins superstar Patrice Bergeron. Prior to getting banged up Bergeron had 8 goals and 11 assists for 19 points in just 19 games to start the 2019 - 2020 National Hockey League regular season and had an impressive plus minus rating of +7 to start the campaign. Not only in Bergeron a fan favorite but the hope is that he will be able to maintain his torrid pace of a point per game when he does return from his injury. In the case of Bergeron however he will be a game time decision, which could mean that he will not play on Tuesday, but the good sign here is that he is traveling to New Jersey with the rest of his teammates.
