Bruins one of three teams rumored in potential trade for veteran defenseman.

The Boston Bruins are among three teams rumored in a potential deal according to a USA Today report over the week-end.

According to Kevin Allen the Anaheim Ducks will be looking to make a trade once the signing of restricted free agent defenseman Hampus Lindholm has been made official. Allen believes that the Ducks depth at the position as well as the potential ascension of both Shea Theodore and Brandon Montour will be the motivating factors behind the move and furthermore believes that veteran Cam Fowler will be the odd man out in Anaheim.

Three potential desitinations were mentioned and among those were the Boston Bruins, although what the organization would be asked to give up in return at this time is unclear. It has to be said that two other teams are reportedly potential candidates with Allen mentioning both the Edmonton Oilers as well as the Detroit Red Wings, both teams that have been aggressively pursuing defensive options in the offseason.
