Bruins place one of their golatenders on the waivers.

The Boston Bruins placed struggling netminder Anthon Khudobin on waivers Wednesday and one has to wonder when or if he will get another chance in the Bruins line up.

Despite having shown brief flashes of being capable of playing at the National Hockey League level this season, Khudbodin is having one of the worse seasons of his NHL career and his performances in the American Hockey League have not been much better.

Through 8 NHL games this season Khudbodin has registered a .885 save percentage and in 3 games with the AHL's Providence Bruins' he's only managed a save percentage of .874, not the type of numbers that inspire confidence. 

Unfortunately for the Bruins he's under contract for one more season after this one, so they have to hope that the 30-year-old Khudbodin can turn it around.
