I do not care what team in the National Hockey League you cheer for, this is nothing short of awesome.

On Monday morning the Boston Bruins released a short video to introduce their new plane, in partnership with Jet Blue, to the world. The plane was trotted out onto the runway where you could clearly see, likely from several miles away, that this plan was 100% Boston Bruins. The entire plane was covered in Black and Gold with the one notable exception being the Jet Blue logo as well as the space between the spokes on the Bruins logo.

It made for a truly remarkable sight out there and although this is clearly just a marketing tactic on the part of both the Bruins and Jet Blue I have to admit it is working. It's an excellent look for both the Bruins and the National Hockey League to have a plane of this nature flying around the airports and the skies of North America and for the Bruins themselves it could not have come at a better time.

Although I am certain that this was planned out well in advance of today's unveiling, the fact that the Bruins are currently dominating their Eastern Conference Final against the Carolina Hurricanes has to make today's announcement seem all that more momentous. For what it is worth I have absolutely no doubt that the Boston Bruins roster will be thrilled at the prospect of riding around in style for the remainder of the Stanley Cup Playoffds in this thing.

Let's not forget the added benefit of having a plane this decked out with your colors landing in a rival city. A perfect fit for the Boston Bruins are the way they like to play the game if you ask me.

Here's a look at the video released today by the Bruins as well as some photos they took of both the plane's exterior and interior.
