According to a report from hockey insider Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet and CBC, the Boston Bruins have signed star NCAA free agent Jack Ahcan.

The 22 year old blueliner had seven goals and 25 points in 33 games with St. Cloud State this season. The native of Savage, MN is something of a "Torey Krug Lite" in that he's an undersized defender who relies on his skating ability to make plays. Ahcan stands just 5 foot, 8 inches tall and weighs in at just 185 pounds.
