Team Canada and Team Finland had their final World Junior Championships exhibition tune up last night with Finland prevailing 5-2. It sounds like a blowout score and indeed Finland was the better team, but late in the game there was a chance for Canada to make a game of it with Finnish defenseman Urho Vaakanainen, a Boston Bruins rookie who was loaded to Finland for the tournament, Vaakanainen in the penalty box.

As it was Finland ended up sealing the game with an empty netter, but not before Vaakanainen took the time to make one fan’s evening. How? He signed an autograph from the penalty box while serving his two minute penalty!

Check it out:

How awesome is that!? This kid is a certified BEAUTY! And you know what? He’s going to be a big part of the Bruin’s blue line in the future, as well. The teenager has been limited to just two games with the Bruins and six games with the team’s AHL affiliate Providence Bruins this season due to injury, but he’s primed for a big showing at the World Juniors this holiday season. The former first round pick (18th overall in 2017) plays the game with such control and patience, he’s like a veteran at just 19 years old.
