Bruins sign defenseman to new contract and fans are furious!

The Boston Bruins announced they had signed a defeseman on Tuesday, and considering the team certainly needs help on the blue line you would think the signing would be welcome news to the fan base.

Unfortunately the fan base has instead reacted with frustration and anger because that defense is Kevan Miller, not exactly a fan favorite in Boston, and he now comes with a price tag of $2.5 million per season for the next four years. Fans immediately began drawing comparisons to the signing of defenseman Adam McQuaid.

The best part of the signing has been without a doubt the reaction from both fans and pundits on social media, and while the reaction may not be universally negative, it's the negative reactions that have been the most popular and entertaining.
