The UFA market is set to open in a few hours and teams have still some times to secure their own players before they test the market. Every team has its stories, but the Bruins might let go of three valuable players in the process.

GM Don Sweeney was quoted saying Dominic Moore, Drew Stafford and John-Michael Liles could be gone for good.

“Haven’t closed out with either player,” Sweeney said of Moore and Stafford’s status with the club moving forward. “Haven’t had a lot of substantive talks with either player and their parties. We will probably move in a different direction with both.”

The move would come in a process of rejuvenating the club with promising prospects.

“We feel good about our forward grouping,” Sweeney said of the club’s prospect pool and their jump to the NHL. “If you really look at it, we’ve added players prior to this whole process in thinking about Anders Bjork coming online, JFK [Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson] coming, certainly with [Danton] Heinen and [Jake] DeBrusk having really good years and other players that have provided depth to our organization.”

It time to make your goodbyes folks.
