Bruins Top6 forward on the trade market?
Keystone Press

According to TSN Scott Cullen, the Boston Bruins would like to trade away Jimmy Hayes but his lack of production makes it hard for them to move the young forward.

The Bruins are struggling at defense with a slowing Zdeno Chara and a Torey Krug who's decision making has been risky so far this season. Again, according to Cullen, the Bruins would be tempted to trade their top6 forward Ryan Spooner, for a top4 defenseman on the market. Obviously Jacob Trouba is a player that comes to mind.

Cap space wise, this transaction could make sens but the TSN reporter didn't say anything much. Would Spooner be enough for Trouba? Given the price of right-handed defenseman (Hall vs Larsson), one might think Kevin Cheveldayoff would want the premium price for his blueliner.
