The Chicago Business Journal has released calculations which allow NHL fans to understand the average cost for tickets to their favorite team's home game.

The Chicago Blackhawks come second in highest median ticket prices for home games after the Toronto Maple Leafs' average of $275.

The Blackhawks are not far off with their own median price for home tickets being set at $241 a ticket.

Considering that hockey isn't as popular in the U.S.A as it is in Canada this price is quite high, especially for a team that doesn't get as much attention as its Basketball or Baseball teams.

It takes big bucks to be a Blackhawks fan this season but so far with their high scoring action packed game-play it might be worth it too fork out the $241 it takes to get a decent view at the United Center.

For now watch and cheer as the Chicago Blackhawks take on the Columbus Blue Jackets tomorrow at the Nationwide Arena at 7:00 p.m. (ET).
