Today was the official release of the TSN Top 50 players of the NHL report. At the top of the totem poll is Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby who was also voted number one last year as well.
This year Patrick Kane is the runner up, but has leaped forward from being in 13th place in 2015. Kane is currently the only player in the NHL to score 100 points in a season and perhaps can give Crosby a run for his money next year in the 2017-2018 season.
