Canadian GM reportedly “tire kicking” as he looks to add another forward.

It's the time of year when National Hockey League general managers begin to honestly evaluate their teams and try to figure out what they need to add our subtract from their rosters going forward.

It appears that one Canadian general manager, specifically Pierre Dorion of the Ottawa Senators, has made the decision that what his team need is some help up front and as a result has been talking to multiple NHL teams about the possibility of a trade.

Ottawa Senators insider Bruce Garrioch states that Dorion has been "active in working the phones" andhas made preliminary inquiries that Garrioch describes as "tire kicking.

Garrioch also believes that the World Juniors, an event that will have plenty of NHL personal in attendence, will provide the Sens general manager a golden opportunity to get some talks in with rival general managers.
