Jim Benning's day isn't even close to being done.

According to TSN's Farhan Lalji, the Vancouver Canucks' general manager has openly admitted that he intends to make more trades happen in the very near future.

"Were not done for the day...I've got a lot more calls to make here," said Benning.

With the trade of Alex Burrows to Ottawa earlier today for prospect Jonathan Dahlen it would appear to indicate that Benning is looking to sell off his veteran assets for young up a comers and build towards the future, a change that many in Vancouver will welcome. Veteran Jannik Hansen has been routinely mentioned in trade talks as of late and we expect he will be one of those moved prior to the deadline.
