Canucks just extended forward's contract.

With the team out of the Playoffs, the Canucks have plenty of time to manage their roster properly. Today, Jim Benning and his crew announced a one year extension on Jayson Megna's stay in Vancouver. 

Megna has 8 points in 53 this year with the Canucks. This one-way contract basically cement his role in the bottom pairings of the Vancouver lineup for at least a full year. The Canucks are expected to pick early in the next draft and will probably rebuild in the years to come. Benning NHL experience will come in handy in this trying period in Vancouver.
