The Vancouver Canucks front office faced the media today with president Trevor Linden, general manager Jim Benning, and head coach Willie Desjardins all answering questions from the assemble members of the press.

While Jim Benning's announcement that Willie Desjardins would return as coach of the Canucks was certainly big news, it was team president Trevor Linden who made the most noise when he revealed Henrik Sedin had suffered a broken finger during the season, and played through it.

"They suffer in silence, they're warriors," said Linden.

It's a remarkable revelation when you consider the fact that Henrik Sedin play in 74 games for the Canucks this season, and although there was no official word on when the injury occurred, we believe the time Henrik missed around the All-Star break is probably a good guess.
