There has been a lot of talk surround Vancouver Canucks' top prospect Olli Juolevi this season, mostly surrounding whether or not the Canucks would trade him to try and find a way to be competitive enough to make the playoffs, and almost none of it surrounding him actually playing hockey.

That changed on Monday when it was revealed that Juolevi was likely to earn himself a shot at some international experience at the World Junior Championship set to kick off later this month.

According to a report from Ryab Biech of Canucks Army Juolevi has been named to Finland's World Junior Hockey Championship selection camp, and it would seem fair to assume that as one of the top picks in the NHL draft he is likely to make that roster.

Still it's not guaranteed that Juolevi makes the cut, but it does seem likely that when the NHL takes a break over the holidays that fans in Vancouver will have some very interesting hockey to pay attention to.
