The Washington Capitals may be planning some big changes this offseason.

In a surprising move, Washington Capitals general manager Brian MacLellan will not be addressing the media until later this month according to a report from Capitals insider Isabelle Khurshudyan of the Washington Post.

Khurshudyan is reporting that MacLellan will complete a "thorough evaluation" of his roster as it is currently constructed and will then speaking to the media at some point later this month. Needless to say this appears to indicate that MacLellan may in fact be contemplating big changes to his roster, something many pundits have speculated is now a necessary step for the Capitals.

There has been no definite date set by MacLellan according to Khurshudyan, but fans will likely be waiting impatiently to hear what he has to say, and what he plans to do moving forward.
