Carey Price gets controversial tattoo that gets people talking!

Before I got my first tattoo, my mama told me I better be sure of what I was putting on my body and what it ultimately meant to me. Because ink lasts forever. 

We are pretty sure Carey Price’s mother had the same talk with her son… Still some fans are giving the Montreal Canadiens star goalie a hard time after he revealed his new tattoo on his Instagram account late Thursday night. 

Price shared a picture of his new ink, revealing a gorgeous sleeve of many bears in a beautiful setting. The netminder posted the picture with a detailed explanation of the image, one that is deeply linked to his family roots. 

“I am very proud of my Grandmother and also very proud to have her blood in my veins. This bear and Anahim Peak represent the community I was raised in. These bears are my family, whom I love dearly. The dude in the Piper is Grandpa Price, my Father.”

It did not take long for some Habs fans to question his decision on the design, telling the star goalie it is too similar to the Boston Bruins’ logo… The Canadiens’ rivals…
