Carey Price has a chance to lead the Canadiens to two records tonight.

Two records within reach for the Canadiens.

The Montreal Canadiens and more specifically Carey Price have an opportunity to put their name in the record books this evening.

First, Price himself has a chance to tie 89-year-old record currently held by George Hainsworth for the most consecutive wins by a Montreal Canadiens goalie. Price has started with 10 straight wins, and his 11th this evening would tie a record set all the way back in 1927, and give him a shot to break it in the following game.

Furthermore the Canadiens have won their first 10 home games of the regular season, a feat that has only been achieved three times in the league's history but not a record. The Chicago Blackhawks of 1963-64 season hold the record with 11 consecutive homes wins, and once again a win tonight would tie the existing record, and give the Habs a shot at breaking it in their next game.

The Canadians will be facing an uphill battle however, as we reported earlier today forward Alexander Radulov has been ruled out of the lineup for tonight's game. That being said the Canadians are facing the number 6 team in their division, so tying both records is a realistic possibility tonight.
