Former Boston Bruins head coach Claude Julien said he had no plans to look for a new job until the spring but that all changed when the Canadiens called.

While there certainly was the allure of once again coaching his hometown team, Montreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin may have made Julien an offer he simply could not turn down.

ESPN hockey insider Pierre LeBrun is now reporting that his sources have shared some details regarding Julien's new contract with the Habs and it sounds like he is now among the top three coaches in the National Hockey League.

According to what LeBrun is "hearing" Julien will earn an average of $5 million per season starting in the 20176-2018 season and that contract will run for 5 years.

Is he worth the price?
