Coach Boucher gives updates on the Borowiecki situation.

Senators coach Guy Boucher just announced that Mark Borowiecki is considered a day-to-day case. The defenseman injured himself after falling leg first against the board on Saturday night’s game. Luckily for the Sens, the veteran D-man Marc Methot was back for the second game of the series and he picked up the slack after Borowiecki's injury.

Even down a man at the blue line, yesterday was an incredible comeback for the Sens at home. After letting in a bad goal and being behind 3-1, the team scored two goals in the third period and finished off with the last one in OT.

Borowiecki will be badly needed when the series moves to Boston tomorrow. With both teams looking to improve their 1-1 record and gain ground in the first round, a big and physical defenseman as responsible as Borowiecki is vital for Ottawa. It's actually a good news that coach Boucher considers him day-to-day, as some were very worried he'd be away for a longer period.

As usual, we will keep you updated on this issue.
