Today's loss against the Senators was a tough one to swallow for the Bruins. After many tight games that could have gone both ways, players and the upper management will feel the pinch for a while.

However, one guy received positive news amidst all these emotions.

This offer is well deserved. Following Claude Julien's departure from the team, many expected a pretty sad end of the season. However, interim coach Bruce Cassidy did very well, earning a 18-8-0-1 record. It took a few games at the beginning, but he seemed to have the players fired up and eager to win toward the end.

More details to follow.
