According to a report from Vancouver Canucks insider Dan Murphy of Sportsnet, Canucks rookie Elias Pettersson will NOT play tomorrow night against the Buffalo Sabres. Pettersson has skated the past two days on his own and Canucks head coach Travis Green was hopeful that his star rookie would be good to go for Friday night, but it appears that the team and the player are taking a more cautious approach to his recovery.

On the positive side of things, forward Bo Horvat will NOT miss any time with a suspected charley horse on his leg. Regardless, forward Tanner Kero has been recalled from the Utica Comets in case Horvat can’t go tomorrow night.
