What would be worse for the Boston Bruins than losing Game 5 on a controversial goal and miscall?

Losing another key player ahead of the do or die Game 6 on Sunday in St. Louis.

Concern is starting to grow in Boston after Bruins forward Jake DeBrusk ran into his own teammate Charlie McAvoy during Game 5 on Thursday night and appeared to shake up the poor blue liner.

Check out the awkward hit:

It did not take long for fans to call DeBrusk out for his dangerous play and made fun of the Bruins’ teammates for this awkward collision that could have caused serious injuries during the third period.

McAvoy remained on the ice and played the rest of the game. He did play just eight shifts in the last period, however, it did not affect his total ice time for the contest.

Game 6 takes place on Sunday in St. Louis and so if ever McAVoy is still feeling the pain of his friend’s hit, he has a few days to get better and shake it off.

And when your captain and defensive partner Zdeno Chara is playing with a broken jaw, you have to feel the pressure to play through whatever injury you might have sustained in that collision.

Right?
