Connor McDavid may be out for revenge tonight!

Tonight is the night that chapter three in the Brandon Manning vs Connor McDavid sage will unfold.

The feud between the Philadelphia Flyers defenseman and Edmonton Oilers forward began back in McDavid's rookie season, when a seemingly accidental incident between the two led to a serious injury to McDaivd.

The most recent match up between the two men only added more fuel to the fire when McDavid called out Manning after the match in the press, calling him classless.

“I thought it was one of the classless things I’ve ever seen on the ice,” McDavid told reporters that night. “He said some things and our guys responded accordingly. We can put the whole ‘he did it on purpose’ thing to rest because what he said out there kind of confirmed that. Shows the guy he is the way he doesn’t step up and fight some of our guys.”

 Manning was no fan of McDavid's comments and wasn't shy about making that known, even going so far as to imply that McDavid had violated some kind of code.

“One freak accident kind of snowballed,” Manning told reporters in Edmonton. “I think I was a little disappointed with the comments of Connor after the last game. I think that’s what kind of bothered me, because what happens on the ice stays on the ice.”

Fans are expecting fireworks between both men this evening.
