Who would of thought this Connor McDavid guy would turn into a pretty good National Hockey League forward?

On Thursday night the Edmonton Oilers first overall pick continued to make a real case for why he belongs in the discussion for the Calder Trophy recording his 14th goal of the season and making it look effortless in the process.

In reality it was a tremendous burst of speed, great vision of the game developing on the ice in front of him,. and excellent positioning when he had control of the puck that even allowed him to get into position in the first place, and McDavid then finished it all off with a gorgeous shot that left Minnesota wild goaltender Darcy Kuemper baffled.
