Connor McDavid’s top 10 from 2016-17

Connor McDavid staked his claim as the NHL’s brightest young star in 2016-17. The shifty and dynamic offensive wizard broke out for 100 points, many of them of the highlight reel variety, this past season and not only earned the Art Ross Trophy as the NHL’s leading scorer, but also claimed the Hart Trophy as league MVP.

As far as personal accomplishments go, what’s left for this kid? The sky is the limit really, especially when you have the kind of talent and skill on display in his Top 10 highlight package:

Wow. That’s some “next level” talent on display. McDavid’s skill is apparent, but the speed at which he can perform such challenging maneuvers is what really makes him a special talent. The kid has the “escapable” quality that enables him to distance himself from defenders and make plays. 

I could watch this highlight package all day… Can we just drop the puck on 2017-18 already?
