Contending team signs a 2-years deal with promising forward

An early report from the Montreal sports networks TVA sports confirms the Blue Jackets officially signed a powerful center player to a 2 year deal.

As per Renaud Lavoie, the Blue Jackets added Samuel Vigneault to their depth. Vigneault is a 6ft5 202 pounds center that is currently playing for Clarkson University. 

The 21-year-old forward played 3 seasons with this team. He scored 30 goals and registered 45 assists for a total of 75 points in 106 games. Samuel Vigneault has never been drafted but has once been invited to the Toronto Maple Leafs training camp.

Vigneault was more than often under the radar even in the junior league. He was drafted in 2012, round 12 #217 overall by Shawinigan Cataractes in the QMJHL Entry Draft.
