During the Stanley Cup playoffs this past summer, New Jersey Devils’ goaltender Cory Schneider spent some time at NBC as an analyst. The Score’s Justin Cuthbert sat down with Schneider and asked him a few questions regarding his time on TV, as well as his take on the Taylor Hall-Adam Larsson trade that took place during the offseason.

Regarding Hall, Schneider said: “When he comes up the ice with the puck with a head of steam, he backs defenders off. He plays the game with one gear… he’ll add a different element for our team that we didn’t have before.”

And what about Larsson?

“He likes blocking shots. He likes getting physical in front of the net… With Edmonton, his offense could flourish a bit.”
