​Coveted D-man on the trading block to get suspended​!

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Jacob Trouba was given a match penalty, Monday night, and was ejected from for an illegal check to the head.

The coveted defenseman, who has heard his name in several trade speculations in the last year, hit Calgary Flames' Marek Hrivik high and late on the play. 

The match penalty carries an automatic one-game suspension that can be rescinded.

His value on the market could take a hit after such a poor and dangerous on-ice decision. The Montreal Canadiens appeared interested in landing the blue liner in the recent weeks.
