Craig Anderson reportedly threatened to slash Penguins star if he entered his crease.

Ottawa Senators Craig Anderson apparently wasn't very happy with one Penguins superstar clogging up his crease in Game 6, at least that's the case according to one of his teammates.

Backup goaltender Mike Condon recently spoke to ESPN senior writer Craig Custance, and he revealed that Anderson issued a threat after getting into in with Penguins superstar Evgeni Malkin.

"He got into it with Malkin," Condon said as per ESPN. "He said he was going to slash him if he came in there again. A little old-school hockey."

Condon seems to have believed him as well, according to the young backup goalie, his interactions with Anderson in the past have definitely led him to believe that on the ice Anderson is a very serious competitor.

"[I thought], 'This guy's a jerk,'" said Condon, who is now Anderson's backup in Ottawa, with a laugh. "I don't know what the right word is -- surly?"

More drama to add to what will already be an extremely tense game 7.
