Crawford takes matters into his own hands after no call on trip.

The Winter Classic was a spirited affair and it even featured one particularly "old school" hockey moment.

Roughly midway through the second period Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford was tripped by St. Louis Blues forward David Perron, and unfortunately the on-ice officiating crew missed the call.

That's when Corey Crawford channeled his inner Ron Hextall and took matters into his own hands delivering a big time chop to the back of Perron's leg, letting him know that even if the referee wasn't going to get involved, he was prepared to dole out some justice of his own.
