CRAZY trade rumor coming out of Montreal!

It's been two weeks now that Carey Price has been placed on injured reserve by the Montreal Canadiens and since then, nobody seems to know what is going on with the Habs superstar and if the team is really telling the truth about the injury.

Habs' management have been caught in the past of hiding infos regarding Price's injury so it's no wonder fans and reporters are skeptical this time around.

Marc Bergevin has also dealt PK Subban only days before his new big contrat could take effect and rumors are circling he could do the same with his goaltender, given the incredible play of rookie Charlie Lindgren.

TV analyst Normand Flynn has even said on TSN 690 that he wouldn't be surprised if Price was traded within the next week.

When asked about those rumors, top insiders Bob McKenzie and Pierre McGuire both said this would not make any sense and do not think it will ever happen.

''That would be insanity. I don't believe anybody's trading for that contract. What you bought is what you got. He's staying there, he's not going anywhere. When you went to that money and that term, you bought it. It's like when you're going to a China shop and you knock something over, you own it.''

We don't know for the moment when Price will be back in the lineup.
