Crosby accidentally sends the puck into the face of Kris Letang.

Penguins captain Sidney Crosby had an incredible performance on Monday night almost single handedly dismantling the Anaheim Ducks in front of his home crowd.

Crosby night wasn't all good however, he also accidentally took out one of his own teammtes out of the game late in the second period. Entirely by accident, Crosby flicked a pass that ended up nailing Penguins defenseman Kris Kunitz right in the face.

Crosby's attempted pass didn't get enough height, and instead it struck the stick of Ducks forward Chris Stewart. and that deflection carried it right into the face of Letang, who would leave the game and head to the locker room to be examined.

Although Penguins fans certainly won't be mad at Crosby who had an incredible night, after all Kunitz did give up a bad turnover that led to a goal earlier in the game.
