Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby may have had a slow start to the regular season, but he's off to quick start in the 2016 NHL playoffs.

Crosby recorded his first goal of the postseason when he benefited from a Rangers turnover that resulted in a breakaway. As you would imagine, giving a breakaway to a player like Crosby turned out to be a major mistake for the Rangers, and the Penguins captain made them pay with a great shot to beat Rangers goaltender Antti Raanta.

The goal gave Crosby's Penguins a 2-0 lead over the Rangers, and to make matters worse for New York they had already lost goaltender Henrik Lundqvist earlier in the evening when he was injured by teammate Marc Staal.
