Sidney Crosby played in his 800th National Hockey League game last night, but did not find the back of the end to celebrate the milestone. As of matter of fact, the Pittsburgh Penguins captain has been held with a goal for 10 straight games this season.

Crosby was once again unable to score in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Washington Capitals, marking the 10th consecutive gamein which he's failed to find the back of the net.

In 18 games with the Pens this season, Crosby has amassed five goals and eight assists. The star players will need to find a way to help his team, who have been struggling as of late.

Crosby will try to stop the bad streak on Saturday, when the Pens will face off against  the Nashville Predators for a Stanley Cup Final rematch.

The Pens captain's longest goal drought came in 2011-12, when he went 12 games without scoring.

Let's hope it does not get there...
