The National Hockey League has been cracking down both on stick infractions and faceoff violations and several players have been unhappy about it.

Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand has made it clear in interviews and on social media that he does not agree with the changes, but it appears that the face of the game does!

Pittsburgh Penguins' Sidney Crosby took a stand on the issue Saturday, saying he likes the changes.

In 75 games last season, Crosby registered a 48.17 faceoff pourcentage.

The NHL announced on Saturday that it has asked the referees to dial it down a bit.

Wil the league change its mind now that the best player is for the new violations?
