Darryl Sutter insists on his future with the Kings.

After locking up Anze Kopitar long-term, Dean lombardi has another expiring contract on his desk and it is another important piece of the Kings' success.

Head coach Darryl Sutter's contract will expire at the end of this season.

Sutter was pretty clear about his intentions for next year, when he spoke with Sportsnet's Elliot Friedman:

"Oh no, I'll be coaching here next year. No doubt I'll get something done here. We've talked a little, but they've been focused on Kopitar."

Los Angeles bench's boss will likely ask for a salary close to the one the Chicago Blackhawks just granted Joel Quenneville with, around $6M per year.
