The Detroit Red Wings’ defensive units might have caused fans to be in an uproar a few weeks ago, but that all seems to be changing.

As the Red Wings continue to pile on win after win including four in a row, it’s no surprise then that superior goaltending has helped their cause. However, the defensive work has been outstanding, and the team’s whipping boy Jonathan Ericsson who was once upon a time seen as a liability has slowly solidified himself as a fan favorite in recent games.
