David Pastrnak has certainly been one of the bright spots on a Bruins team with offensive struggles. For only 18 years of age, he has shown an offensive prowess that has been lacking on the roster this season. Unfortunately for Bruins fans, we may not be seeing much of the young Pastrnak for the rest of 2014. Pastrnak is listed on the Czech Republic roster for the upcoming World Junior Hockey Championships in Toronto and Montreal. The Tournament begins on the 26th of December, but with camp, preparation and exhibition games starting the 13th, it is a possibility that Pastrnak would be unavailable to the Bruins until the end of the tournament. Playing for your country is always enticing for players and although Pastrnak has yet to confirm his participation, there is still a good chance he takes the IIHF up on the offer. Pastrnak has one assist through 5 games with the big club. The question remains, can the Bruins part ways with Pastrnak for a month?
