The Boston Bruins are set to face off against the Carolina Hurricanes in what could prove to be a critical game for the Bruins in this series. The Bruins currently boast a 2 - 1 lead in this series over the Canes but games 5 & 6 will come on a back to back should the series go that long and this could prove to be a major issue for a Bruins team that has lost their starting netminder in Tuukka Rask.

For this reason all eyes were on Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy this morning during his media availability, with many wondering which Bruins would be suiting up for Game 4 given that the team has been dealing with some key absences in their line up. The biggest question on everyone's mind of course was regarding the health and status of forward David Pastrnak who was out for Game 3 in this series, and unfortunately the update from Cassidy was not a good one.

"Pasta's not available," said Cassidy during his media availability.

This would appear to indicate that Pastrnak has once again been deemed "unfit to play" a tough break for a Bruins team that already had to go through training camp without the talented forward available to them. Pastrnak is among the team's most effective offensive weapons and there is simply no way for the Bruins to replace his production internally, however they did manage to beat the Canes in Game 3 with Pastrnak on the sidelines and will no doubt be looking to do so again in Game 4.
