It has been a hard couple of seasons for defenseman Kris Letang, but the Pittsburgh Penguins did not miss the chance to reward his hard work and commitment.
On Saturday, Pens head coach Mike Sullivan announced that Letang will be an alternate captain this season.
Sullivan added that Letang will be in the Penguins' lineup Sunday in the Hockeyville game against the St. Louis Blues.
The blue liner will be able to show off his new letter on his jersey.
