Detroit's legend gets new statue in Hall of Fame.
Toronto Star

Gordie Howe may have passed away less than a year ago, but he's already dearly missed. ''Mister hockey'' earned many titles and honors during his prolific career, but the Hockey Hall of Fame decided the special hero deserved even more.

The new 8 feet tall statue will preside over the museum for as long as the building will be standing. The unveiling of the statue was also coordinated with the launch of the new ''NHL Centennial Exhibition'' commemorating the 1917-2017 top players, of which Howe is obviously a part.

The statue was presented to Howe's sons, Mark and Marty

We won't forget you, sir!
