Devils ban fans from tonight’s game against Penguins due to coronavirus outbreak

This just in, the New Jersey Devils are formally requesting that certain fans do NOT attend tonight’s game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

So basically, if you’re feeling sick or if you’ve been overseas anytime in the past two weeks then you’re not welcome.

Late last night, the Mercury News based reported that San Jose Sharks games for the rest of March will either be cancelled or postponed.

It’s unclear exactly what the Sharks will do with the three games on the schedule, but because of a ban instituted by Santa Clara County on gatherings of 1,000 or more people the Sharks will need to come up with a plan.



The Sharks officially confirmed that their previously held plans will need to be changed, but they admitted that they don’t yet know how they’ll proceed.

**March 9, 8:45 p.m. (PT):**SAP Center at San Jose is aware of the County of Santa Clara’s Public Health Department order to prohibit public and private mass gatherings through the end of March. We will adhere to the mandated guidelines. No events are scheduled at SAP Center until Tues., March 17. We will be reviewing each scheduled event due to take place for the rest of the month and provide an update in the coming days. We appreciate the understanding and patience of our fans, guests and partners during this unprecedented time.
